I am a 50-year-old from Milan with a lifelong passion for nature, science, and exploration. I studied physics, which nurtured my deep interest in astronomy and technology—two fields that continue to fascinate me and shape the way I see the world.
The wind is a central element in my life. I’ve always been drawn to it—in the sky, on the sea, and across snowy slopes. I’m an experienced glider pilot, finding freedom and perspective in silent flight. I’m also a diver and skier, constantly seeking new ways to engage with the natural world.
Sailing, however, has been my greatest constant. I’ve been sailing for over 30 years and hold a Yachtmaster qualification. As a skipper, I’ve explored countless coastlines, especially throughout the Mediterranean, South America, and South Africa. I currently keep a small sailboat in Greece, which serves as my base for roaming the Mediterranean whenever time allows. There’s nothing like the feeling of being at sea—navigating by the wind, the stars, and a good chart.
Through all these experiences, I remain curious and open to learning, always looking for the next horizon to reach—whether it's through a telescope, under the surface of the sea, or over the next wave.
